Narcotics

There are three full time investigators who work in the narcotics unit of the Sheriff’s Office. These officers investigate drug and illegal gambling complaints in Troup County and also assist in LaGrange, Hogansville and West Point. They are also task with investigating drug and contraband complaints in the jail. In 2012 there were over 230 persons arrested on drug cases alone.

Members of the narcotics unit also serve as members of the Sheriff’s Office Dive team.
